This non-credit course is designed for individuals wishing to increase their understanding of forests and forest management. Specifically, the General Forestry Course targets Maryland forest landowners and other citizens with an interest in the principles and practices of forestry.
There are two methods of distance learning available: the web-based or online version, and the original paper version.
Note: The General Forestry Course will be offered for the Fall 2012 Semester with registration opening on July 1. Check the web site in May of 2012 to see if we are offering any discounts.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. The course will begin on September 1.
